Composer Eliyas
Elias Melka Geresu, born on December 10, 1977, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was a prominent music composer and songwriter. He gained recognition after composing Teddy Afro’s debut album “Abugida” in 2001. Throughout his career, Elias composed over forty studio albums and collaborated with influential Ethiopian artists, including Gossaye Tesfaye and Zeritu Kebede. He passed away on October 4, 2019, in Addis Ababa.
