
Composer Ismail Darbar
Ismail Darbar, born on June 1, 1964, in Surat, Gujarat, is an Indian film score composer, instrumentalist, singer, violinist, and music director. He began his career as a session violinist for leading music directors like Laxmikant–Pyarelal, Kalyanji–Anandji, Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, Anand–Milind, Nadeem–Shravan, Jatin–Lalit, and A. R. Rahman. Darbar gained prominence with his compositions for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” (1999), which earned him the National Film Award for Best Music Direction. One of his popular songs from this film is “Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se.”
