Amar Deep is a Bollywood romantic drama movie directed by R. Krishnamurthy and K. Vijayan and produced by K. Balaji. The movie features Rajesh Khanna in the lead role supported by Vinod Mehra, Shabana Azmi and introduces new actress Deepa. The lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi and the music was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The movie songs are sung by Kishore Kumar, Anuradha Paudwal, Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, and Asha Bhosle. The movie was released on 18 May 1979.
