Bharat is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit, and Salman Khan. The movie stars Salman Khan in the titular role alongside Katrina Kaif, with supporting roles played by Tabu, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, and Jackie Shroff. The film is an adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film “Ode to My Father,” tracing India’s post-independence history from the perspective of an ordinary man.

The music for Bharat was composed by Vishal-Shekhar, with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil. The soundtrack features vocals from a variety of talented singers, including Neha Bhasin, Kamaal Khan, Vishal Dadlani, Nakash Aziz, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sukhwinder Singh, among others. The album was released on 5 June 2019 and includes popular tracks such as “Slow Motion,” “Chashni,” and “Aithey Aa.” Bharat was released on 5 June 2019, coinciding with the Eid festival, and received mixed reviews from critics. However, it was a commercial success, grossing over ₹325 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2019.
