Hindi Chhoti Si Baat (1975)

Chhoti Si Baat is a Hindi romantic comedy movie directed by Basu Chatterjee and produced by B. R. Chopra. The film’s title means “A Small Matter” in Hindi. Considered one of the best Hindi comedy films of the 1970s, it is a nostalgic favorite for its quirky take on pre-hyper congestion Bombay. The movie is loosely based on the 1960 British movie School for Scoundrels. All lyrics are written by Yogesh; all music is composed by Salil Chaudhury. The movie songs are sung by K. J. Yesudas, Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar, and Mukesh. It was released on January 9, 1976.
