Laaga Chunari Mein Daag – Journey Of A Woman is a 2007 Indian drama movie directed by Pradeep Sarkar and starring Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukherji, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher with a special appearance by Abhishek Bachchan. Produced by Aditya Chopra it premiered on 12 October 2007. The movie was the first directed by Sarkar under the Yash Raj Films banner. This movie is a remake of Ahista Ahista (1981), which itself was a remake of the 1969 Kannada movie Gejje Pooja. The movie songs are sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Swanand Kirkire, Pranab Biswas, Babul Supriyo, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Shubha Mudgal, Meeta Vashisht, KK, Rekha Bhardwaj, and Sonu Nigam.
