Hindi Mission Mangal (2019)

Mission Mangal is a 2019 Indian Hindi drama movie directed by Jagan Shakti and jointly produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, Fox Star Studios, Aruna Bhatia, and Anil Naidu. The movie features an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya, Vikram Gokhale, and Sonakshi Sinha. The music of the movie is composed by Amit Trivedi and Tanishk Bagchi while lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya and Tanishk Bagchi. Mission Mangal movie songs are sung by Benny Dayal, Vibha Saraf, Shilpa Rao, Anand Bhaskar, Abhijeet Srivastava, Raja Hasan, and Romi. The movie is loosely based on the life of scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, India’s first interplanetary expedition. Mission Mangal was theatrically released in India on 15 August 2019, India’s Independence Day.
