Hindi Phata Poster Nikhla Hero (2013)

Phata Poster Nikhla Hero is a 2013 Indian Hindi action comedy movie directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The movie features Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead roles and was released on 20 September 2013 to a mixed to a positive response from critics. It is loosely based on 1989’s movie Guru starring Mithun, Sridevi, Shakti Kapoor in which Mithun also pretends to be police inspector and accidentally catches the criminals of a specific gang on different occasions whereas in reality he doesn’t get selected for the police job due to a corrupt police officer played by Yunus Parvez. The songs were composed by Pritam, with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil and Amitabh Bhattacharya. Phata Poster Nikhla Hero movie songs are sung by Mika Singh, Atif Aslam, Chinmayi Sripada, Benny Dayal, Shalmali Kholgade, Shefali Alvares, Ishq Bector, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Nakash Aziz, Neha Kakkar, Arijit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Harshdeep Kaur.
