Ramaiya Vastavaiya, released on July 19, 2013, is a Bollywood romantic comedy directed by Prabhu Deva. The film marks the debut of Girish Kumar, alongside Shruti Haasan in lead roles. It is a remake of Prabhu Deva’s earlier Telugu film “Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.” The story revolves around a wealthy NRI who falls in love with a simple girl from Punjab and faces challenges to win over her family.
