Hindi Saudagar (1973)

Saudagar is a Bollywood drama movie, directed by Sudhendu Roy and based on the Bengali story, Ras, by Narendranath Mitra, and produced by Tarachand Barjatya, and Subhash Ghai. It features Nutan as Mahzubeen and Amitabh Bachchan as Moti, in the leading roles. It also featured Trilok Kapoor and Padma Khanna as Phoolbanu in lead roles. Murad, Leela Mishra, Dev Kishan, Jugnu, and V. Gopal are also featured in the movie. The music for the movie was composed by the versatile composer Late Ravindra Jain. The movie songs are sung by Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi, Aarti Mukherji, Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, and Lata Mangeshkar. The movie was released on 26 October 1973.
