Hindi Shahenshah (1988)

Shahenshah is an Indian Hindi vigilante action movie starring Amitabh Bachchan in the title role, along with Meenakshi Sheshadri. The movie was produced and directed by Tinnu Anand. The story of the movie was written by Amitabh Bachchan’s wife Jaya Bachchan and the screenplay was written by veteran screenwriter Inder Raj Anand, who died before the movie was released. Bachchan still had films releasing during the hiatus, as they were projects he had previously completed. The movie vocals are performed by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Aziz, and Asha Bhosle. It was released on 12 February 1988.
