Hindi Shakti (1982)

Shakti is an Indian Hindi crime drama movie, directed by Ramesh Sippy, written by the Salim–Javed duo, and produced by Mushir-Riaz. It features Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Raakhee, Smita Patil, and Amrish Puri in lead roles. The core plot was based on the 1974 Tamil movie Thanga Pathakkam. Shakti was notable for being the first and only movie to feature veteran actors Kumar and Bachchan together on screen. All lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi; all music is composed by R.D. Burman. The movie songs are sung by Mahendra Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar, and Kishore Kumar. It was released on 1 October 1982.
