Hindi Sonchiriya (2019)

Sonchiriya is a 2019 Indian Hindi action movie co-written and directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The movie starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles. The music of the movie has been composed by Vishal Bhardwaj, while the lyrics have been written by Varun Grover except for one song “Naina Na Maar”. Sonchiriya movie songs are sung by Mame Khan, Rekha Bhardwaj, Arijit Singh, and Sukhwinder Singh. Set in the Chambal valley, the film follows the story of a legion of dreaded, warring dacoits who once terrorized the Indian heartlands. The movie was released on 1 March 2019 in 940 screens worldwide, with 720 screens in India and 220 in overseas regions. The movie received positive reviews from critics. Its dialogues are entirely in the Bundeli dialect.
