Hindi Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019)

Uri: The Surgical Strike is a 2019 Indian Hindi military action movie. It is the directorial debut of Aditya Dhar who also wrote the film. The movie features Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam and Mohit Raina in lead roles. Shashwat Sachdev composed songs for the movie. Kumaar, Raj Shekhar and Abhiruchi Chand are the lyricists. Uri: The Surgical Strike movie songs are sung by Romy, Vivek Hariharan, Shashwat Sachdev, Yasser Desai, Siddharth Basrur, Shantanu Sudame, Daler Mehndi, and Dee MC. The movie is a dramatized account of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack and follows Major Vihaan Singh Shergill of the Indian Army, who plays a leading role in the events. The movie was theatrically released worldwide on 11 January 2019 and grossed 342 crores (US$53 million) worldwide. It won four National Film Awards, including Best Direction (Dhar) and Best Actor (Kaushal).
