Hindi Utsav (1984)

Utsav is a Hindi erotic drama movie, produced by Shashi Kapoor and directed by Girish Karnad. The movie is based on the 2nd-century BC Sanskrit play, Mrichakatika by Śūdraka. The movie features Shankar Nag, Shashi Kapoor, Rekha, Amjad Khan, Anuradha Patel, Shekhar Suman, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Annu Kapoor, Sanjana Kapoor, and Kunal Kapoor in lead roles. The film’s music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal, and the lyrics were penned by Vasant Dev. The movie songs are sung by Anuradha Paudwal, Suresh Wadkar, Aarti Mukherji, Lata Mangeshkar, and Asha Bhosle. It was released on 21 December 1984.
