Music Director Aadesh Shrivastava
Aadesh Shrivastava was born on September 4, 1964. He was a famous music director in India and worked on the music for more than 100 Hindi movies. Some of the movies he worked on are well-known, like “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…” in 2001, “Baghban” in 2003, and “Raajneeti” in 2010. He made really popular songs for movies such as “Baabul” in 2006 and “Chalte Chalte” in 2003. Sadly, Aadesh passed away on September 5, 2015, one day after his 51st birthday, because he was very sick with cancer. Even though he is no longer with us, his music is still played and loved by many. His songs and music will always be remembered. Aadesh’s career was marked with notable achievements, one of the biggest being winning the Filmfare Award for Best Background Score in 1998 for the film “Border” and “Mirchi Music Awards” nomination for “Mora Piya.” Some famous songs that Aadesh directed include “Shava Shava” from “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…”, “Baawri Piya Ki” from “Baabul”, and the touching “Chali Chali Phir Chali Chali” from “Baghban”. His independent career gained popularity with the movie “Kanyadaan” in 1993, where Lata Mangeshkar sang his composition. Despite early setbacks, his song “Haathon Mein Aa Gaya Jo Kal” from “Aao Pyaar Karen” gained popularity.
