Music Director Bulo C. Rani

Bulo C. Rani, whose real name was Bulo Chandiram Ramchandani, was born on May 6, 1920, in Hyderabad when it was part of British India. He became very famous in Bollywood music between the 1940s and the 1960s. His music journey started in 1939 when he got a job at Ranjit Movietone. His first big chance to show his musical talent came with the movie “Caravan” in 1944. He worked hard and made music for more than 71 movies until 1972. His music mixed old Indian tunes with new styles, making many people love his work. Some of his well-known songs include “Humein Toh Loot Liya” from “Al Hilaal” (1958), “Mangne Se Jo Maut Mil Jati” from “Sunehre Qadam” (1966), and “Badariya Baras Gai Us Paar” from “Moorti” (1945). Sadly, even though he did a lot of great work, Bulo C Rani faced tough times in his last years and died on May 24, 1993, in a sad way.
