Music Director Faakhir Mehmood
Faakhir Mehmood, born on April 20, 1973, in Islamabad, Pakistan, is a well-known Pakistani musician known for his singing, keyboard skills, music composition, and production. He started his music career with the band Awaz but moved on to a solo career after the band split in 2000. His albums “Aatish” (2002), “Sub Tun Sohniyeh” (2003), and “Mantra” (2005) have been very popular. Songs like “Jiya Na Jaye” and “Mahi Ve” from “Mantra” are particularly famous, with “Mahi Ve” winning two awards at India’s Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards. Faakhir has been recognized for his contributions to music with the Pride of Performance Award by the President of Pakistan in 2007 and the Lux Style Awards for Best Song (“Kabhi Kabhi Pyar Mein”) in 2010.
