Starting his career as a violinist, he collaborated with legendary music directors before making a significant mark with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,” earning the National Film Award for Best Music Direction. His compositions in “Devdas” received critical honor, although he and Bhansali parted ways after this project. Darbar’s involvement in various television reality shows as a judge and his entry into politics by joining the BJP in Gujarat highlight his diverse talents and interests.
