Nachiketa Chakraborty, born on September 1, 1964, in Kolkata, is a renowned Indian Bengali singer-songwriter and music director known for his significant contributions to Bengali music and films. Starting his career in the early 1990s, Nachiketa has established a unique style combining Bengali urban folk with contemporary lyrics. Notable among his works as a music director are films like “Hothat Brishti” (1998), “The Light: Swami Vivekananda” and “Khelaghar” (1999).
