Music Director Sahir Ali Bagga

Sahir Ali Bagga, born in Lahore, Pakistan, is a well-known Pakistani music director, singer, and composer. Sahir comes from a musical background, being the son of the 1970s Pakistani music composer and drummer Amjad Hussain, and was musically trained by musicians from Ustad Tafu’s family. He gained significant recognition for his work on the TV show “Virsa: Heritage Revived,” where he composed music for various artists, and has composed music for films like “Zinda Bhaag,” “Hijrat,” and “Tamanna”​​. Some of his famous songs include “Yeh mumkin tou nahin,” “Malang,” “Baazi,” “Rab Waaris,” “Roye Roye,” and “Dhola.” In 2020, he was honored with the Pride of Performance Award by the government of Pakistan for his composition “Bara Dushman Bana Phirta Hai,” a march song released by the Inter-Services Public Relations to commemorate the anniversary of the 2014 Peshawar school massacre​.
