Her journey in music direction began in 2004 and is famous for creating music in a new way, mixing old and new sounds. Some of her best-known songs are from the movies like “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!” and the “Gangs of Wasseypur” series. She was nominated for the 58th Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for “Gangs of Wasseypur”, making her the second woman to be nominated in this category after 28 years.
