Sweekar Agasthi, born Vamsi on August 6, 1990, in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, is known for his work as a music director and playback singer in the Telugu film industry. Starting his career as a singer with the Niraval band, he made his playback singing with “2010 Summerlo” from “Doosukeltha” in 2014. His growth and popularity came with “C/o Kancharapalem” in 2018, a film praised for its music, particularly the song “Asha Pasham” which received a wide response. His notable works include composing for “C/o Kancharapalem” (2018), “Middle-Class Melodies” (2020), and “Mail” (2021). Agasthi’s talent has been recognized with nominations, such as for the Best Music Director – Telugu at the Filmfare Awards South for “C/o Kancharapalem”.
