V. Manohar is a well-known name in the Kannada music industry, known for his talent as a music director, lyricist, and film director. Born in Vitla, Karnataka, India, he gained popularity in Kannada and Tulu movies with his exceptional music composition and lyrical skills. He began his journey in the film industry with his first beginning as a music director in the movie “Tharle Nan Maga” in 1992. Over the years, V. Manohar has contributed significantly to over 100 Kannada films. Some of his most famous songs include “Yarro Ninna Shivanna” and “Alabyada Jeeva “from the film “Kaliveera,” and “O Mallige Ninnondige” from “Anuraaga Sangama.” He has won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director three times for his work in films like “Chigurida Kanasu,” “Jodi Hakki,” and “Janumada Jodi.” Additionally, his talent as a lyricist was honored with the Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist – Kannada for the song “Kannallu Neenene”.
