His work for “Vanaprastha” not only garnered international honors but also earned awards at the Istanbul International Film Festival and the National Film Awards in India. Among his famous tracks are contributions to films like “Heat and Dust” and soundtracks for “Apocalypse Now” and “Little Buddha”. Awards like the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and Grammy Awards create his impact on the music industry. He was honored with the albums like “Planet Drum” and “Global Drum Project”.
