Amar Arshi, born Amarjit Singh on January 15, 1967, in Phagwara, Punjab, India, is a well-known Punjabi singer who launched his musical career with his debut album in 1991. Now based in London, Arshi has made significant contributions to the Punjabi music scene. Among his most famous songs are “Aaja Ni Aaja,” “Kaala Chasma,” and “Rangli Kothi,” with “Kaala Chasma” gaining further popularity through its remix for the Bollywood film “Baar Baar Dekho” (2016).
