Fateh Singh, widely recognized by his stage name Fateh Doe, is an influential Indo-Canadian rapper and music producer, born on October 19, 1986, in Bangkok, Thailand, to Punjabi Sikh parents from Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He moved to Hayward, California, during his early years and later relocated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he launched his musical career. His journey in music began in earnest in 2012 when he connected with the singer Dr Zeus, leading to several collaborations and his eventual rise in the Desi Hip Hop scene. Fateh’s notable singles include “Lovely” from the Bollywood film Happy New Year (2014), “Naiyo Jaan De” (2015), and “Proud To Be Desi” (2020). His achievements include several nominations at the 2015 Brit Asia Music Awards, marking his impact on the music industry. Fateh has contributed to the genre with his dynamic blend of Punjabi and hip-hop music, gaining recognition across several continents. Among his various works, his participation in songs like “Painkiller” and “Inch” has stood out, cementing his place in the music world.
