Husn Bano, born as Roshan Ara on 8th February 1919 in Singapore, was a renowned Bollywood actress known for her versatility and talent in both acting and singing. She began her career in the 1930s, debuting in the film “Daku Mansoor” (1934) under the direction of Nitin Bose. Throughout her career, she appeared in over 50 films and lent her voice to numerous songs. Husn Bano was particularly noted for her performances in films like “Jawani” (1942) and “Prem Nagar” (1940), where she showcased her acting prowess and vocal skills. One of her most notable contributions was in the film “Dost” (1944), where the legendary singer Noor Jehan provided playback for her.
