Josh, often stylized as JoSH or Jösh, is a dynamic Canadian Bhangra music duo that has made significant waves in the South Asian music scene since its formation in 2000 in Montreal, Quebec. The current lineup includes Rup Magon and Qurram Hussain, who are known for blending modern and traditional Bhangra beats with hip-hop and pop music influences. They gained considerable popularity with their second album, “Kabhi,” and its title track Kabhi which topped music charts in India and MTV World Top 20 for several weeks. The duo won the MTV India’s 2004 “Immie” award for Best New Non-Film Artist. They also collaborated with Grammy-winning artist Nelly Furtado on Bhangra remixes of her hits like “Powerless (Say What You Want)” and “Promiscuous.” Throughout their career, Josh has been involved in multicultural initiatives and performed on prominent stages such as the Coke Studio and Pepsi Battle of the Bands. Some of the discography includes “Main Hoon Tanha” (2001), “Kabhi” (2004), “Mausam” (2006) and “Beyond Kismat” (2010). Other songs are Ajnabi, Mahi Ve, and Aaj Ke Din
