Leon Saalis De Souza, better known as Leon D’Souza, is a well-known singer from Goa, India. He was born on November 10, 1985, into a Goan Catholic family rich in musical tradition. Leon stumbled into music, hugely influenced by his family and a life-changing opportunity to work with the famous composer A.R. Rahman. He is skilled in singing and playing the piano, and his music includes pop, rock, and filmi. Leon got his big break with the song “Hosanna” from the Bollywood movie “Ekk Deewana Tha“, which was composed by A.R. Rahman. “Hosanna” became even more popular years later, proving Leon’s lasting appeal in music. Some of his other famous songs include the remix of “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” for the movie “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” and “Dhuaan” from the movie “D-Day“.
