Meet Malkit is an independent Indian-Punjabi singer, lyricist, and music composer born on June 14 in Batala, Punjab, India. He pursued his higher education at Guru Nanak Dev University before moving to Brisbane, Australia, in 2008, where he currently resides while balancing his international music career. Meet Malkit gained major industry recognition in 2011 through his standout vocal collaboration on the hit song “Garaari” with Yo Yo Honey Singh for the International Villager album, and he later worked with legendary UK producer Bally Sagoo on the track “Botallan Sharab Diyan.” Transitioning fully into an independent artist, he operates his own projects and officially made his solo debut with the single “Vekh Ke Hasde” on June 14, 2023. Known for bridging traditional Punjabi folk aesthetics with modern urban pop, his modern discography includes well-received independent streaming singles such as “Zindagi,” “Surma,” “Shaukeen Jatt,” and his recent 2025 album Tuttian Mohabbtan.
