Sanjivani Bhelande, an eminent Indian playback singer, was born on 1970, January 26 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. She holds a prestigious place in Bollywood, having been the first talent show winner to secure a playback singing debut in the industry. Her journey into music began with a remarkable victory in the Zee TV talent hunt show “Sa Re Ga Ma” in 1995, which paved the way for her debut in the Hindi film “Kareeb” under the guidance of Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Sanjivani’s singing career took flight with hits such as “Chori Chori Jab Nazrein Mili” from “Kareeb“, “Nikamma Kiya” from “Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa“, and “Makhmali Yeh Badan” from “Road“. Sanjivani’s contributions to music have been recognized with several awards, including the Ashirwad Best Playback Singer Award for “Chori Chori Jab Nazrein Mili”. She was also nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award in 1999.
