Satinder Pal Singh, known as Satinder Sartaaj, born in Bajrawar, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, has emerged as a significant figure in Punjabi Sufi music since 2003. His musical journey, adorned with profound lyrics and soul-stirring melodies, started with an honours degree in music, leading to an MPhil and PhD in Sufi music singing. His notable contributions include the notable songs “Imtehan“, “Tabadley“, “Kehde Raha’n Te“, “Moh Ey Purana“, “Phull Te Khushbo“, “Mehboob Ji“, and “Aukhey Vele“. Some of his work includes “Seven Rivers”, “Jalsa 2.0” from movie “Mission Raniganj”, “Shava Ni Girdhari Lal” and “Jaan Ke Bhuleke”. His achievements are highlighted by winning “Best International Act” at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards in 2011 and “Music Video of the Year” for “Udaarian” at the 2018 edition of the same awards​.
