Sridevi, born on August 13, 1963, in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, was an iconic Indian actress and singer. Known as the “First Female Superstar” of Indian cinema, she began her career as a child artist in the Tamil film “Thunaivan” at the age of four. Sridevi’s versatility shone through in various languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Her breakthrough came with the film “Himmatwala” in 1983, which established her as a leading actress in Bollywood. Some of her most popular films include “Mr. India,” “Chandni,” “ChaalBaaz,” and “Lamhe.” She was known for her expressive eyes and impeccable comic timing.
