Sweekar Agasthi, born Vamsi on August 6, 1990, in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, is a celebrated figure in the Telugu music industry, known for his multifaceted roles as a composer, playback singer, guitarist, and audio engineer. His musical journey began with the band Niraval, and he made his playback singing popular with the song “2010 Summerlo” from the film Doosukeltha in 2014. Agasthi’s work in films like “C/o Kancharapalem” (2018) and “Middle-Class Melodies” (2020) has earned him critical acclaim, particularly for the track “Asha Pasham” from “C/o Kancharapalem,” which garnered widespread attention. Notable works include his debut feature film “C/o Kancharapalem,” “Middle-Class Melodies,” “Mail” (2021), “C/O Kaadhal” (a Tamil remake of “C/o Kancharapalem”), “Stand Up Rahul” (2022), “Butta Bomma” (2023), and “Gaami” (2024).
