Viva was an Indian pop girl group formed in 2002, consisting of members Anushka Manchanda, Mahua Kamat, Neha Bhasin, Pratichee Mohapatra, and Seema Ramchandani. The band was created through a reality television show called “Coke [V] Popstars” on Channel V India. Viva quickly rose to fame with their debut album, which included hit songs like “Jaago Zara,” “Hum Naye Geet Sunaye,” and Bollywood popular song “Rozana” from movie Lakeer – Forbidden Lines. Their music was a blend of pop and Indian influences, and they were known for their energetic performances and catchy tunes. Although the band disbanded in 2004, its members went on to pursue successful individual careers in music and entertainment. Anushka Manchanda became a renowned playback singer and music director, while Neha Bhasin gained fame as a playback singer in Bollywood. Viva’s contribution to the Indian pop music scene was significant, as they were one of the first all-girl bands in the country, inspiring many young artists.
