Agneepath is a 2012 Indian action drama film directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. It is a reboot of the 1990 film of the same name and was released on 26 January 2012. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan as Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, Priyanka Chopra as Kaali Gawde, Sanjay Dutt as Kancha Cheena, and Rishi Kapoor in a negative role, marking a departure from his usual characters. The music for the film was composed by Ajay–Atul, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
