Hindi Banaras (2006)

Banaras: A Mystic Love Story is the name of an Indian Bollywood movie directed by Pankaj Parashar and produced by L.C. Singh. The movie starring Urmila Matondkar, Dimple Kapadia, Raj Babbar, and Ashmit Patel in lead roles. The movie takes place in the Hindu holy city of Varanasi and is centered on the relationship of a young woman with her parents and her lover. The storyline also has a strong religious dimension. Most of the movie was shot in Varanasi, with some scenes shot in Mauritius. The music was composed by Himesh Reshammiya with lyrics by Sameer. The movie was released on 7 April 2006.
