“Dabangg,” released on September 10, 2010, is a high-octane action film directed by Abhinav Kashyap. The movie stars Salman Khan as the fearless and corrupt police officer, Chulbul Pandey, alongside Sonakshi Sinha, who made her acting debut. Supporting roles are filled by notable actors such as Arbaaz Khan, who also produced the film, Sonu Sood, and Vinod Khanna. The music for “Dabangg” was composed by the duo Sajid–Wajid, with Lalit Pandit also contributing to one of the tracks. Lyrics were penned by Faiz Anwar, Lalit Pandit, and Jalees Sherwani.
