Hindi Gangster (2006)

A gangster is a 2006 Indian Hindi romantic thriller movie directed by Anurag Basu and Produced by Mahesh Bhatt, and Mukesh Bhatt. It features Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Shiney Ahuja in lead roles. The music is composed by Pritam. The movie was rumored to be based on the life of mobster Abu Salem and former actress Monica Bedi, but director Basu has denied any similarities to any real characters or incidents. It was the debut of actress Kangana Ranaut. Lyrics are written by Sayeed Quadri, Mayur Puri, Neelesh Misra. The movie songs are sung by K.K, James, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Kavita Seth, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Zubeen Garg. The movie was released on 28 April 2006.
