Kavita Seth, born on 14 September 1970 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, is a famous Indian singer celebrated for her playback singing in Hindi cinema, Ghazal, and Sufi music performances. She leads the Sufi musical group, Karwaan Group, and is based in Mumbai. Her notable works include the classical Sufi rendition “Iktara” from “Wake Up Sid” (2009), “Tum Hi Ho Bandhu” from “Cocktail” (2012), and “Rangisaari” from “Jugjugg Jeeyo” (2022). Seth has been honored with the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer twice for “Iktara” and “Rangisaari”.
