Hindi Manzil (1979)

Manzil is an Indian Bollywood romantic drama movie directed by Basu Chatterjee. The movie was loosely inspired by the Bengali film Akash Kusum (1965). Manzil features Amitabh Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee in pivotal roles. The song Rimjhim Gire Saawan is a chartbuster. The movie was reported to be the only Hindi movie to have a galvanometer in its core plot. The Music of the movie was given by R. D. Burman and the lyrics are written by the legendary lyricist Yogesh. The movie songs are sung by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, and Asha Bhosle. It was released on 28 September 1979.
