Naache Mayuri is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language film that narrates the inspiring story of Sudha Chandran, a classical dancer who overcame the loss of a leg in an accident and continued to pursue her passion for dance with the help of a prosthetic “Jaipur foot.” Directed by T. Rama Rao and produced by Ramoji Rao, the film stars Sudha Chandran herself in the lead role, portraying her own life story on screen.
