Mohamaad Ghibran, an acclaimed music director and composer, was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He embarked on his musical journey with significant hardships, ultimately leading to a prestigious education in music at Trinity College London and LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. Ghibran made a striking entry into the Tamil cinema with his debut in “Vaagai Sooda Vaa”. His career expanded with his notable works like “Vishwaroopam II” and “Uttama Villain” for which he received international awards. Among Ghibran’s famous compositions are “Saridhaana Saridhaana” from “Amara Kaaviyam,” and “Kannukkul Pothivaippen” from “Thirumanam Enum Nikkah”. Another significant contribution is his song “Iraniyan Naadagam” from “Uttama Villain,” which won the Best Original Score at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. Ghibran’s work for the movie “Ratsasan” was critically honored, earning him the Best Music Director award at various film festivals. Notable Awards include Best Original Score, Los Angeles Independent Film Festival for “Uttama Villain” (Song: “Iraniyan Naadagam”) and Best Music Director, Norway Tamil Film Festival Awards for overall contributions.
