Music Director Pasupuleti Ramesh Naidu
Pasupuleti Ramesh Naidu was a celebrated music director from Andhra Pradesh, who made significant contributions to Telugu cinema and other regional films. Born on November 27, 1933, he was recognized for his skill as a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer. His music career took off in the 1950s and he continued to create memorable film scores until his passing in 1988. Naidu’s work in the movie “Meghasandesam” won him the National Film Award for Best Music Direction in 1982 and three Nandi Awards. Among his most famous contributions are the soundtracks for “Sivaranjani” (1978), “Ananda Bhairavi” (1983), “Srivariki Premalekha” (1984), “Jai Singh” (1959), and “Swayamkrushi” (1987). For his outstanding achievements, Naidu was honored with the Best Music Director Nandi Award for “Suvarna Sundari” in 1984 and for “Meghasandesam” in 1982, which also brought him the prestigious National Film Award.
