Music Director Premgi Amaren
Premgi Amaren, born on February 26, 1979, is known for his talents in the Tamil film industry, combining roles as a music director, singer, and actor. Initially starting his career in music under the mentorship of his cousin Yuvan Shankar Raja, Premgi developed a niche for himself, especially in composing rap songs for Tamil movies. His career took a significant turn with his acting debut in the movie “Vallavan” (2006) and gained further recognition in “Chennai 600028” (2007). Premgi has directed music for several films, including his debut as a music director with “Gnabagam Varuthe” (2005). Some of his famous songs include “Loosu Penne” from “Vallavan,” “Machi Open The Bottle” from “Mankatha,” “Va Kanakku,” and “Vilayadu Mankatha” from the same movie. He has been awarded the Best Supporting Actor at the International Tamil Film Awards for his role in “Mankatha.”
