Ram Miriyala, born on October 30, 1987, in Andhra Pradesh, India, is a talented music director known for his unique blend of folk and pop music. Initially working in the corporate world and later at Radio Mirchi as a promo producer, Ram’s passion for music led him to form the band Chowraasta in 2018. The band focuses on Telugu folk songs with a touch of reggae, exploring social issues through their music. Ram Miriyala gained significant recognition for his contributions to singing, composing, and songwriting, especially during the COVID-19 lockdown with the song “Cheyi Cheyi Kalapaku Ra” which aimed to raise awareness about the pandemic. Some of Ram Miriyala’s most famous songs include “Vagalaadi” from the movie Brochevarevarura, which was his debut song as a playback singer, and “Chitti” from the film Jathi Ratnalu, a delightful track that won him honor. Another notable track is “Tillu Anna DJ Pedithe” from DJ Tillu.
