Zoheb Hassan, born on November 18, 1966, is known for his contribution to pop music in South Asia, especially through the duo “Nazia and Zoheb” with his sister, Nazia Hassan. Their first album, “Disco Deewane,” made them pop icons, and they went on to sell over 300 million records worldwide. Zoheb is not just a singer but also a songwriter and producer, holding 12 gold, 4 platinum, and 2 double platinum discs. After a break from music, he returned with his album “SIGNATURE” in 2017, featuring the last tracks sung by Nazia Hassan. Among Zoheb’s famous songs are “Disco Deewane,” “Boom Boom,” and “Koi Nahi,” all celebrated across various countries. He has been recognized for his contributions to music with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the United Nations Association of Pakistan and an award from Oxford University for Achievements in the field of South Asian Music.
