Zohaib Kazi, born on July 22, 1984, in Karachi, Pakistan, is known for his work as a composer, songwriter, and record producer. His journey in the music industry started at Hum Network Limited, and he gained significant recognition as an associate producer at Coke Studio Pakistan from 2009 to 2017. Kazi’s albums, including “Butterfly in Space” (2012) and “Ismail Ka Urdu Sheher” (2015), showcase his talent in blending various music genres. He also led the production of the eleventh season of Coke Studio with Ali Hamza in 2018, introducing new sounds and artists to the audience. Among his famous songs are “Bijuri” featuring Devika Chawla, “Naraaz Mausam” with Devika Chawla, and “Alvida” featuring Zoe Viccaji. Kazi’s work has been recognized with nominations for Best Music Album at the Lux Style Awards for “Ismail Ka Urdu Sheher” in 2016 and “Fanoos” in 2018, with the song “Takht Hazar” from “Fanoos” also nominated for Best Song of the Year.
