Singer Achu Rajamani

Achu Rajamani, a renowned Singer and Indian music director has carved a notable niche in the South Indian film industry since his debut in 2008. Born into a musical family, Achu’s grandfather, B. A. Chidambaranath, was a pioneer in the Malayalam music industry, and his father, Rajamani, was celebrated as the king of background scores. Achu began his career assisting the legendary composer M. M. Keeravani and later began on his independent journey with the Telugu film “Nenu Meeku Telusa?” in 2008. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to various film industries including Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, showcasing his versatility across 410 songs and numerous films. Among his notable works are the songs “Siru Nadai” from “Urumeen” and “Pondatti” from “Goli Soda 2,” which enjoyed extensive radio play. His work in “Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey” earned critical acclaim, further establishing his reputation in the Tamil music scene. Among his two songs sung by him includes Aakasame Haddu (2011) and Naadodigal 2 (2020). Achu has also been recognized with awards, notably for his contributions to the albums of films like “Potugadu” and “Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey.” His talent extends beyond music composition to playback singing, with popular tracks in films like “Happy Husbands” and “Ra Ra Krishnayya.”​
